Studio Delta Delivery Policy
Delivery of products will take place at the address and floor specified by the customer via email, through the website, or otherwise communicated in writing. The customer will make the necessary arrangements to accept delivery on the date communicated by the Studio Delta team.
As noted in communications, failure to specify a delivery floor will result in delivery being made to the ground floor only. Deliveries to higher floors may incur additional charges.
Deliveries will be made during normal business hours (Monday to Friday), unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Orders placed on weekends will have their lead times calculated from the following Monday.
Deliveries within Gauteng are handled by DELTA Group employees. Support staff will confirm delivery the day before, and delivery staff will contact you 30-60 minutes prior to arrival. While we strive to deliver promptly, multiple deliveries on the same day mean that exact timeframes cannot be guaranteed.
Unpacking & Placement: Delivery staff will unpack, place the unit in your chosen ground-floor room (unless another level was previously communicated), level the unit, and remove packaging materials. Should a client decline this on the day of delivery and subsequently request a return visit for levelling or adjustments, a callout fee of R500 will apply.
Access & Liability: Customers must ensure all walkways and delivery areas are clear. Staff cannot move existing furniture due to liability reasons.
Delivery Limitations: Items are only guaranteed for entry onto the main floor unless otherwise previously stated. Delivery staff are skilled in handling furniture and minor installations but cannot be held liable for damages arising during delivery or installation.
Deliveries outside Gauteng are managed by specialist third-party freight carriers. Due to the fragile nature of our items, the process involves multiple handling stages (loading/offloading between depots and trucks), which can extend delivery times. Our team will give you confirmation as soon as the item/s have been collected from our production facility and taken to the Gauteng depot. Anticipated arrival dates will be provided, and the transport company will contact you directly to confirm availability.
